Contagious Courage

Much time has passed since I wrote my last post. During this time, I have been reviewing my journals and in doing so have identified a deep passion and desire woven throughout them…to write and to advocate for causes that ignite hope, spark love and birth much needed grace for our world.  My writings reveal the names of women who have impacted my life and this world with contagious courage.

Today, I am thrilled to be writing again and even more thrilled to begin by sharing my heart as an advocate for Red Tent Living and the Brave-On Conference.

Currently, I am raising funds and awareness for this conference to be hosted by the women of Red Tent Living. As a member of the community of Red Tent Living women, I have experienced first-hand the grace and inspiration this community provides for women to connect with God, self and others. Personally, until I joined vulnerable and brave women in sharing our stories together, I was unaware that my own life had a deeper meaning and significance than what I was living.  By sharing and exploring my own story and listening to the stories of other women, I came to gain further insight into who I am and who God is. The insights I gained through the diversity, courage and authenticity of women have impacted my life, my marriage, my family and my community. I am passionate to support the work of Red Tent Living in reaching out to women to know their story is worth telling and to know deeper intimacy in their relationships.

The impact of Red Tent Living is far reaching.  Currently, Red Tent Living is read in 167 countries, averages 167,000 visitors per year to the site and 400+ views per day.  Red Tent Living also advocates for the lives of women, men and children suffering the horrors of sex trafficking.  Many of you have supported the team of Red Tent Living in the past by donating funds for this cause and your contributions have brought much needed change. It is with this heart that I am thrilled to offer another exciting opportunity.

Right now, Red Tent Living is accepting sponsorship donations for the Brave On Conference in Austin, an event scheduled this September where women from across the nation will gather to engage their stories with courage and vulnerability. Guest speakers Jen Hatmaker, Nichole Nordeman and Tasha Morrison will be headlining this conference together with the founder of Red Tent Living, Tracy Johnson.  In addition, other inspiring speakers will share throughout the day.  You can read about each one and access details of this conference at braveonconference.com and redtentliving.com.  Please consider joining us!

I am excited to invite you to join me in sponsoring this life-changing event. One life lived with intentionality can make a difference to change cultures and bring love to our families, our local communities and the world.  Will you help tell that story?

Would you prayerfully consider making a donation to support this event and the women who will attend?  To donate, please click here.  There, you will find a list of  several levels of sponsorship together with details on how to donate.  Any amount will help.  I hope to see you in September as we join together and Brave-On!!
